Use
- How do I create a new post?
- How do I delete a post?
- How do I post pictures from another website like Flickr?
- How can I get a new template?
- Can I edit my template?
After logging into your blog you can make many changes to your blog using the links in the navigation bar at the top of the page. To create a new entry, for instance, you’ll want to click the link “Write.” When you are finished clicking the “Save and publish” button will post your entry for the public to see and read.
After logging in you’ll need to “edit” your post. You can do this by clicking the post’s link on the dashboard. Around the middle of the page you’ll find a button that says “Delete this post”, clicking that will, as it state, delete that post.
You can simply include the HTML code for this. Services like Flicker make it very easy by giving you the code for your picture when you are viewing ‘all sizes’ of a specific photo. Just cut and past the code below the picture into your blog entry.
There are several templates available for your use. You can change the current template by clicking on the “Presentation” link in the blog manager and choosing your new template. Many new templates will be added in the future. If you find one that you like let us know and we’ll see what we can do about adding it to the template gallery.
The basic blogging service doesn’t offer template editing. The enhanced blogging service will allow you to modify and add your own templates.
Technical
- Is my blog backed up?
- Does your blogging software work with any blogging tools?
- What software and version is CFDBlogger using?
- What browsers does CFDBlogger support?
We back up the database where your blog is stored every night, and the last 5 days backups are kept in a secure location.
There are many tools out there that work well with CFDblogger allowing you to create and manage your posts off-line. While there are quite a few out there, we recommend blogjet.
WordPress Multi-User
CFDBlogger works well with Opera, Netscape, and FireFox. We have noticed some random loading issues with Internet Explorer.
